I may need to upgrade the ECU and wiring harness on a port injected wedge. I am currently running a 15 YO FAST XFI system that has done well... until recently. I would want full laptop tunability. Self learn for the fuel map would be a nice upgrade over my current system also.

The dealers I have worked with no longer seem to sell FAST and not sure whether to go the dealer route or online.

What are pros and cons of the different makes and systems out there now? FAST, Holly, FI Tech... ?

Appreciate any recent experience and suggestions.

Thanks

.

Remember the self learn only gets you close to the targets you provide, if you give it bad info it will learn poorly.

I like the Megasquirt line of products but that is all I have ever messed with. Tremendous amounts of bang for the buck in the MS3Pro and MS3X lineup.

Just looking at current products the Holly looks good... also ECU and wiring I would need in a handy kit.

My current system is 100% user programmed... no self learn. I will still check everything with the self learn. It is bound to speed up the tuning process.

Holley is dominate player these days. FAST ran into some problems getting new features to market and they seem to be struggling for some reason. Call Rich at FAST Man EFI and he'll get you everything you need. He can also provide remote tuning help and/or training.
