I'm trying to figure out what color the grille needs to be on my 68 GTX project. Some of the pictures I see show the grille being black and others show it more of an argent silver color. Can anyone provide any insight as to what is correct or were both used during that year? Thanks for any help.

I have an original grill for my 68 Sport Satellite and it is some sort of gray color. I don't know the exact color. I'm sure someone will chime in.

It's a Charcol Gray with Light Silver piping, with black detail on the fins. Pic looks black but it's Charcol like a 69 Charger grille, or 1969 Recall Wheels. Grilles are long gone..

I think its duplicolor makes a bumper paint in a rattle can that is extremly close....in both color and sheen.
Non textured
