The mag says these two guys worked on this car and one of them drove it but someone else actually built it.

Anyone know who?

Looking to contact him, need a name and phone number if possible.

And by the way - while I see the tool to rotate the images, nothing seems to rotate them. I even deleted them and reposted with the images correctly oriented.

Not sure who built it but I remember watching it race a lot, awesome car! If I remember right that was their second car as the first one was wrecked (possibly rolled).

Local car out of Detroit around Redford. Injected small block. Amo was the guys last name. He died a few years ago. He had a 65 Cuda that looked like twin to it before the wagon. They rolled it. Trick car. As I remember the chrome front bumper was carbon fiber. I believe he owned a machine/fab shop.

I drug that car as shell out of a junk yard in Fort Worth Texas --I sold it to John Ammo .. he is the one that had it built with left over parts from a Barracuda that he had that crashed , he did not drive them he had a driver .

The builder's name is John Amo. He's shown in the plaid shirt in your second picture.

Unfortunately you can't get ahold of him anymore because he passed away a couple years ago.

.
When he passed, his shop and everything in it was liquidated. Here is a link to the empty shell. Cut and paste this to see the outside of his shop.

I only met him once but I got to see his shop and speak with him one time, and I thought very highly of him.
