I am in the process of planning a GEN III engine and drivetrain swap into a 1970 E body. I will be using a donor car for the drivetrain, suspension - both front and rear-, and electronics. This will be a manual transmission car. I would love to hear from someone who has done this to help me overcome the problems I may/will encounter. What will and won’t fit on the rear suspension, front suspension, and engine and transmission mounts? What modifications need to be done? I plan to go with the old school steering column so how do I deal with the electronics from the donor car? Any help, or pointing in the right direction (websites) will be greatly appreciated.

I would start with the Gen III Hemi Tech section of this board. There is also a hemi swap section on Forbbodiesonly.com
