I know my cars not that fast but it just seems wrong putting a trailer hitch on the car.

2 10000 lifting straps wraped around the roll bar tube hooked to a 1" shackle to a 2 ton hoist I trust any of that more then the China steel in that jack stand

I put a hitch under my car several years ago, and I have never used it on 6 drag weeks. I have even bought 2 trailers and not used them lol. I can never talk myself into the hassle when I can get everything I need inside the car. I cry about loading and unloading but in the end its better than dealing with the trailer at the hotels.

Plenty of the faster cars haul trailers... if you are planning on
carrying a fair amount of stuff which us mopar guys tend to do
because its not like the chevy guys that can borrow... just try
to keep the trailer built low for less areo drag.. I built one to
pull.. faster to get on the road if needed

The hitch I'm making is kind of overkill. I had one laying around off the wifes old escape. looks like it will kind of work. Also was the right price. I keep going back and forth with a trailer or a hitch carrier. The cheep guy in me wants to do the carrier so it will not be more tolls. I also am thinking about a tear drop camper or a small box trailer with a roof top tent. I am planning on slicks and street tires. I would rather have then locked in a box then sitting out in plan sight.

Sounds like a good plan tome instead of having to kill some thief in the middle of the night.(where is the whistling IMOGI now?)

This is what I used in 2016. 22 gallon cell and battery in the trunk don't leave too much room.
