What is the correct finish/color for a 73 Road runner brake booster?

I've never owned a '73 RR, but all the B-bodies I've owned/seen for '73-'74 were NOT painted.

The only ones I've seen painted were parts house replacements.

Thank you. I couldn't think of the correct name, so I left it at 'unpainted'. blush beer

Finally got around to getting the original booster out of the car. This thing has been black since day one. I also spoke with booster Dewey about it ( great guy) He says it should be the di chromate, and black painted ones were a factory replacement? After talking with the previous original owner he swears it was never replaced??? Maybe memory isn't what it once was? So I'm up in the air as to which way to go.
