Honestly no I don't but if you are going to get a tune anyway it should take that out.

I got lucky yesterday and scored a 2001, 5.2, manual trans pcm. I thought I would check the pick a part inventory before I left work yesterday and there was the truck that just hit the yard that day. So I made the hour drive straight up there and the pcm was still there! $40 later I was on my way home with it.

OK, so I picked up a set of the black injectors (24.6 lbs/hr @ 39 psi) installed them and the 5.2 manual trans PCM. I cleaned the throttle body and reset the PCM. Runs great now, no hunting at idle and no stumbling when stabbing the go pedal. Needless to say I'm very happy and ready to swap this all into my 74 PW crew. I plan on just putting this all in and keeping the NP435 in it for now. Later I'll swap in the NV4500 and then the camshaft and tune. Plan to start pulling it apart in June.

Found out today (from a dealer parts dept.) that a '00 Ram 2500 w/ 5.9 and manual trans only has one pre-cat and one after-cat O2 sensor. up Read somewhere that a 2500 had 2 pre-cat sensors and that would not work for me.
Ready to order my PCM. boogie

going the other way. 89 RC with 360 with that blasted lousy TBI system, have had a few trucks with it now, this one has been THE worst of them regarding computer/injection issues among them. Biggest turd I have ever driven. My 79 with 318 and NP203 transfer case had more gumption to get out of its own way and was even better on gas than this thing. not that one buys an RC for MPG, but I like to get the most out of something "for what it is".....

built up a '76 360 shortblock, with a COMP 260 cam, and EQ Magnum heads (yes we have had it running, this is 2nd Magnum conversion I have done) Edelbrock intake and 600 CFM carb, went with 87 wiring harness and gas tank to eliminate everything to do with the computer and went with 4 pin electronic ignition. In my experience that setup is much more dependable. and a mechanical fuel pump.... less troublesome and less than $30, and only 20 min to change, IF something were to go bad.... I have had a few Magnum trucks, and those are much better than the TBI could ever hope to be, haven't noticed enough difference between the ones I have had with OBD I, vs the ones I have had with OBDII, to change from one to the other.
My son and I went thru the wiring harness and eliminated all of the "extra" stuff.....

01 and up suck. Have to have the VIN of the vehicle programmed into the computer or itll start and quit start and quit... before you can release the key. 00 down aren't that way.

Back from the dead. shocked
Finally wired in the toggle for the P-N wire (actually several weeks ago when I put the open element air cleaner on it but forgot to post it). Cruise works again in OFF position but has an off-idle stumble. Put the toggle in the ON postion, no stumble. work Finally found a couple of MT pcm's and going to order one and I'll be done. up

How's yours coming, GJ? boogie

I have all the wiring harness done but everything has been stripped from the RC and is waiting to be swapped into the PW when I get time. It's been crazy hot here so I haven't been working on it.
