I built these back in the very early 80's. The Challenger is a real 1970 MPC kit - before Fred Cady had decals available:

Mine are in their boxes waiting for me to get around to them...probably when I can't do the 1:1 stuff anymore, haha. I even have a 6-car trailer like you, so a bunch can be displayed together.
Some day I'd like to have someone build a model of my drag car, actually 2: one as it is now, and one in its original livery.

You guys are talented! I thought I could do some nice ones but never got to it. I have a half a dozen or so of old ones still new in the boxes including S&M’s Boss Cuda, the Chrysler Turbine car, 69 Six Pack Bee and more. I probably bought them in a period from the early 70’s to the early 80’s,

A friend of mine bought 45 models from 67'-76'(all original issue) for $35 at a yard sale and mailed them to me
The 68' Chevy truck annual was painted green originally, a trip to the Mean Green container brought it back fresh and original leaving perfect detail

SunroofCuda I haven't tackled that much detail yet in these. Figure when I get them to that stage I'll order the distributors and stuff needed all at once hoping to get a deal

I haven't built models in years. I probably have a dozen or so older kits that I opened and looked at, then closed the box, and sat them on a shelve.
I too thought I would build them after I retired, but now that I'm there, my hands don't work well enough to deal with all those little pieces. I guess they will just become something else someone will have to deal with whenI'm no longer around. Gene

I use to build them and blow them up or roll them down the driveway on fire.
If there was anything left the Red Rider BB gun and I took it from there.

I do still have some Mopar Johans that I would like to build someday, I promise not to destroy them, scouts honor.

Sunroofcuda for some strange reason I REALLY like that GREEN '69 Road Runner up wink to me it looks like F5 green even if it isn't and it looks to have a black interior. Also like the hood stripes no vinyl top and red Air Grabber inlet grilles. If you ever decide you would like to sell it please send me a PM. As I said there's something about it I really like?

Nice work, guys. up Puts mine to shame. blush Getting back into it after 20 yrs. or so. About 25 kits in the basement, mostly Mopar. wink

I have to ask, Bob. Where did you find the '74-'78 Dodge truck kits? work I've been trying to find one to build as a tow vehicle.

Ive just might have a few lying around. Maybe 500 or so ,,give or take. Most are packed away right now due to a cross country move.
