I wouldn't count on them being available. I have had the 4.25 bore block on backorder with Jegs for months, and just this morning I got an email from them saying they were canceling my order.

Thank you for your order. Part ~312-P5160149AC is discontinued. Mopar Performance has not offered any replacement item. Your backorder for this item has been canceled. If you have any questions please call us at 1-800-345-4545 and speak with a tech sales representative. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Jeg's Customer Care Did you order when it was 2900.00? If so that's why they cancelled your order I bet. The total price of my original order including truck freight was $3257.99

Makes me wonder just how much more money an original cast iron Chrysler block will be worth now when all there is are aluminum blocks to buy. Maybe time to unload a few spare blocks but then again once there gone your in that sinking boat of not being able to get an iron block.

It’s all about the current senior management at Mopar and Mopar Performance.
1) The top of the house doesn’t know or understand drag racing, street cars, etc. and what it takes to keep them running.
They are not wrench turners. And they are not fact gatherers and won’t do any intel on their own.
2) The top of the house is getting poor information from management below them, those mid level managers won’t rock the boat, too worried about their bonuses.
Back in the day Direct Connection was run by people that knew the product and the audience and consequently the demand. They were closely related to the product engineers. Hoover, Maxwell, Gross, Schram, all talked to each other.
The new top of the house is all new - they couldn’t find their way out of the building if there wasn’t a red four letter word over the doors.
Sad.

It would make perfect sense if you know the history of Italy, fiat and Antonio Gramsci.

That company is long gone. sold off multiple times, and nobody wanted it.....And sadly, those left, are only interested in the bottom line.

All automotive Management are running their companies the same way and its all about the stock holders and how much you can cut for your bottom line and higher managements yearly bonus. If they could most would move their manufacturing to Mexico and pay the auto workers two dollars an hour just like GM has done. How can anyone making 2 dollars an hour afford to buy the products they produce. Likely there has never been any new produce being cast like these blocks. Some blocks were found and they have got rid of them via Jegs or who ever. Nothing new with Hemi stuff from Chrysler. Back in the late 70s Chrysler dumped all there hemi short blocks onto Mancini and they were all gone before the advertisement in the car mags hit the stands.

It would be interesting to hear the story behind how those eBay ads came to be, and the delivery date on the website got changed, if there were no blocks available.
Twice.
An unrelated Mopar Performance-ism....... I noticed than on Mancinis “shop by brand” list........ Mopar isn’t listed as one of them(other than Mopar Dress up items).

Marchionne had nothing to do with those engine platforms, Bob Lee did.
Is that so... please explain how any of those programs could have been completed with an investment of less than $5M USD.
