Doesn't LSM make something?

lsmproducts.com I just did a quick check and the do have a hemi tool but it's not for the two shaft system. If you have the individual shaft system it works. If you have the two shaft system you may want to call them and see what they may have.

I made my crude tool 20 years ago.The hard part is the rocker must be removed.I used compressed air to hold the valve up.
HEMI-ITIS has no cure. My condition is fully BLOWN!!

It's from Detroit Tools.
From one of the threads in the link.
"It's called the 426HemiVSR. I love it. You can order it directly from Detroit Tools Contact Mike Pollock at 1-313-942-2816"
When I was trying to buy one in 2014 they wouldn't return my calls at that phone number.
I don't know if they're still in business.
Mancini Racing used to sell them, but took them off their website since 2014 (they were out of stock at that time).
I bought one from a member here back in 2014, but have since sold it to a friend after I traded off my car that had the Gen 2 Hemi in it.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

I know a lot of guys (maybe most) use air to hold the valves closed, but I just can't help worrying about it bleeding off. I have always used a piece of rope in the cylinder. Rope seems somewhat more dependable.

Rope seems somewhat more dependable. I always put the piston up top when doing this, that way if you lose air you don't lose the valve. I know a guy that actually had the rope method get tangled up and it caused him real hell trying to avoid tearing the motor down to get it out.

But I had never seen or heard of a problem with the rope.......until now. I have, however, seen problems with air leaking off and letting the valve get too far into the cylinder.

Would borrowing one do it? Or do you need one permanently?
