He was trying to figure out if you're talking about engine valve springs or the suspension springs (on the struts).

More basic detail will help so that people will know what exactly you need help with.

It would be more apt to get someone who knows that particular problem to help you.

"Factory springs" is too vague to know how to help, there are many assorted springs on a car..

Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

Not much to the springs.Either good or bad.Same with the strut springs.easy to just buy quick struts.Rears are easy also and not pricey.Rocky

rocky is right. if your springs are weak, or broke, the struts are on their last legs as well.
better to just buy the quick struts.

There are several different part numbers of factory springs and I was wanting to talk to someone that is versed on them, so I can get the right NOS springs.

Unless you are doing something fancy just get OE type replacements. When we had the Cruiser I got quick struts etc from Rock Auto.Cheaper than my son who is a parts pro manager at Advacne could buy them.I did buy the monroes because I dodnt trust off brands. But did replace nephews GM cars with the off brands and no problems.Rocky

The build record should be available from Chrysler if you provide the VIN and it will call out the springs by a three letter code. Or if your lucky the paper tags will still be on the springs with a part number but they usually fall off.

And to each their own, quick-struts are bottom of the barrel junk put together by equally dim individuals. Two out of three installations the ride quality was total crap upon autopsy teardown I found parts missing and/or installed backwards/upside down ect.

I put Quick Struts on my '04 R/T because I only had a short amount of time before I had to go back overseas. I hated them. Fortunately, I saved the struts and springs. A couple of years later, when I was between overseas tours, I put Koni inserts into the original strut housings. Expensive, but worth it.

I have quick struts now and want to go back to factory, but there is more involved than I want to just keep going back and forth on here. That's why I'd like to talk on the phone. 10 minutes on the phone is better than two weeks on here.

There's a reason we want to go "back and forth" on here- so others have the information pertinent to the repair.
It wont take 2 weeks. Just take 10 minutes and type out what's going on.

There are quite a few different part numbers and tag numbers and suspension codes that can apply. The specific springs for my car can't be found, so I'm trying to find springs as close as possible to what my car came with. Then there are the front springs where the factory had different spring rates between left and right according to equipment installed, so the same thing applies with the front.

Try eibach.com. call them and discuss what's closest to what you want and compare to what they have. You never explained what you wanted, a firm sporty ride or a cushy luxo ride. Not a lot of people are going to want to call and have a "10 minute" conversation, which usually turns into 2 hours. People are going to continue to chime in about how you need to rebuild your assemblies untilyou set the record straight.

You don't mention which model year you're working on, but for '04, SE, SXT, and R/T all had the same front spring, 5272609AB, and the same rear springs 5272283AB.

My 2000 4 door ES, I installed Monroe Quick struts all the way around , but did not think the ride height was correct . So I ended up buying new rear springs part number 5272284AB, and installed them to the monroe strut and that made no change. I just accept the fact that these cars all ride a little high in the rear.
