DVW: how long does the lexan last?
real world?
I understand it scratches up really easily?
Secondly : I haven't gutted the doors as yet, i'm guessing most of the weight is the glass and regulator?
Dang doors are heavy.

Dave Hall: Everyone I have contacted with the pre-drilled gauge panels so far only has them that way, that and the heater control delete have been the two hardest pieces to find for this build so far- uggghh.

Rusty I bought a few of the blank gauge panels from these guys a few years ago https://redlinegaugeworks.com/products

I run 26" fronts on my Darts, I like the way they fit

Rusty, as the saying goes, "your mileage may vary"; not sure what nose weight you have so I can't compare, but I have a SB, mostly stock K with 6-cyl bars, its original setup from its SS/IA days. 2 batteries in trunk + the ballast.

I can't recall what wheelie bars we used, maybe Morrison's kit; we narrowed them and they mount to the rear axle. They're spring-loaded so they don't unload the rear axle/tires. Had to narrow the stock fuel tank on the right side for the right wheelie bar because my Dana's fairly narrow (3" spring relocation, 13x31s). One thing leads to another, you know.

Easy enough to fab a block-off from light/thin sheet aluminum, or leave the area as-is without the controls.

This company has flat duster gauge panels with no holes. Last I checked there were no black ones left. I bought the last two. https://classicdash.com

I think there are several different companies that make them in in either 3/16 or 1/4 inch thick as direct replacement windshields work shruggy
My airplane(1960 Piper Comanche) had all Lexan windows and one piece windshield made for a 180 MPH airplane, I used special expensive cleaners a for them until a old timer at the airport told me about using Lemon Pledge furniture polish, liquid or spray cans, on Lexan up
That is the hot ticket as the polish removes scratches and protect the windshield from bugs guts sticking also up

Thanks guys: I'm going with the 26" front runners and calling those companies on the dash panel.
Suffering through the flu right now- dang hard to work- uggh.

anyone have a clue on the heater control delete or blank?

Wondering how much weight loss i get with lexan door glass vs stock glass?

Thanks

Same Lexan, year 7. Few scuffs but looks pretty good.

Classix Dash doesn't have anything either- who would have thought this piece could be so tough to find!
