Anyone have the assassin bars and the leaf's moved in. Just wondering if there's any issues with the way they bolt on the leafs. As far as clearance in side the box where the front perch is in.

Caltrac make one just for a mini tub setup. Something on the part that goes over the leaf spring is welded instead of bolted.

The front mount is welded instead of a nut/bolt so it will fit in the confines of the front spring box when you move the springs inboard.

A quick look at the assassin setup and it looks to me like that front clamp with the u-bolts will be too wide to fit inside a spring box. You could always make your own wider ones.

My rear leafs are moved inboard 3" to the frame rails. No issues with the old Mopar Performance kit and using Caltracs w/split mono's.

My cousin took off Cal tracs and went with the Assassin bars and did not have to make any changers to the spring hanger

I have a home made relocation kit so I am not sure if it will be the same.
I had to notch the bottom of the relocation boxes. This was to clear the front contact bracket that goes under the front spring eyes. My boxes are wider than the frame rails so the side clearance was no issue.
Hope this helps.

I like the adjustability of the assassin bars but the more I look at the pictures it just doesn't look like they will fit inside the box on the frame unless I cut on it. I was trying to find a measurement across the front where the u bolts go over the leaf spring.

The piece that is clamped around the spring also should come with a drill bit to put a hole through the spring and the clamp piece. So i don't see why you couldn't just drill a few bolts through the spring and not use the clamps then cut it down if Needed. Might not be great but food for thought
