per a Plymouth PRODUCT INFORMATION BULLETIN dated 5/14/71 Duster 340 & Barracuda Models W/340 Engines (Hamtramck Assembly)
Effective with production of May 17, 1971, all of the above subject models ordered with manual transmission (3 or 4 speed) will be built with the new Electronic Ignition system, code N23.
