Hi, is there anybody out there that owns a 1970 or 1971 'Cuda/Barracuda convertible that can give me a measurement? The measurement needed is the width of the rear Deck Filler panel. As you know, the convertible uses a smaller width piece than a hardtop. I need to modify a hardtop piece and the original piece is no longer available to take measurements from. The places I need measured are in the photo below. Basically, I need the measurements of the three black lines. To be clear, it is only the visual part when the trunk is closed and the center molding is attached. I understand that the two end measurements should be the same. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Will a Challenger work, or does Cuda have a unique panel?

Hi, that is a good question. I know a lot of the inner unseen unique convertible pieces are not the same between the two. I'm going to guess it probably isn't. Maybe somebody can chime in who knows for sure?

5 1/2" in the center, hooking the tape over the edge where the trim goes to where it starts to turndown for the trunk

Thanks Dayclona, I'm aware of Ken. I had a local fabrication shop convert my quarters and they did a fantastic job. They will be making this piece for me as well.

Any step by step pictures of the conversion process you can share?

Hello FJ6AAR,

Couldn't figure out how to post them, so I sent you an email with some pics off my 1970 Barracuda convertible.
