i have never used ceramic pads, so i'm wondering what the bed in process is. the pads have GG on the lining material if it makes a difference. TIA

I've never seen any info saying the procedure is different. I performed the same bedding style in my wife's vehicle when changing from semis to ceramics. Everything seems okay there, but it is not a performance vehicle.

GG is the new heavy duty rating. I can't say I've seen a huge difference in performance for our application. I noticed they are a bit less effective first thing in the morning, but they warm up quickly enough. They also developed squeaks after a fair bit of use. I did a re-bed of them and it went away.
