I have what I was thinking 70 440 E-body valve covers. Now I am not that sure after looking at other pictures. The lower one posted has a different shape on the lower Right side front corner. Any one know what the right side cover is for, the lower one

Those look correct to me.

.....well actually after further review. I see your point. Not sure if there were more than one style....or what? My 70 HP covers do not have that indentation on the LH cover.

All the 70 e-bodies I see don't have that indentation, but the wire & spark plug wire tabs are correct.. Now I think maybe that one right side cover is for a 1971 E-body?

That factory made indentation on the drivers side valve cover is probably for clearing the power brake booster on all of the cars in 1970 work scope work
I'm not a restorer or a show car guy so keep that in mind on my input shruggy

Sorry we are talking about the right side cover with that indentation on the front of the engine at alt.
