I've put about half a bottle of nitrous through it and used about half a gallon of 91 No Ethanol. I did up the jetting to 150hp shot. No issues so far.
It rained here all weekend so only street passes so far.

We raced a small nostalgia event called The Rumble in Bethany, Mo yesterday. It had an amazing turnout of cars and spectators for it being the first year! We ended up doing friendly grudge matches against a 427 Thunderbolt replica and I went 3-0 against him. We had a great time and met some of the best people there! I had never raced 1/8th mile before and traction was sketchy but it still ran 102mph.

Looks like a nice event thats fairly close to me. I coworker races on that track, but I've never been. Do you go to MOKAN? Yep, try to get down there at least a couple of times a year. Probably HAMB drags and Fall Hot Rod Reunion. I grew up 30 miles away so I kinda consider Mo-Kan my home track. Great people!

The good news is, it's run 10's at 128 mph a few times now in the heat and with a DA of over 4,000 ft.
The bad news is, I noticed a rattle on the return road Saturday night and finally found out what it was. The balancer came apart where the rubber is. The outer ring completely separated!

New balancer in place and a new tranny pan gasket. I was having good luck with cork ones here lately until the last one decided to mark its territory!
I highly recommend the 518 reusable gasket as it has a steel core and rubber coating. Kinda pricy, though, at $41 at the local stealership!
Getting ready for the HAMB drags in Asbury, MO August 18th!

We did the Swap Meet at Ozark Empire Fairgrounds on Friday and raced the HAMB on Saturday. If you get a chance to attend either one, I would highly suggest it! It was a warmer day with high humidity and a DA around 3800. Car still ran 11.00 @ 123mph best hitting a small shot after the lazy 60 ft. Looking forward to cooler temps.

Lots of Nostalgia racing coming up. We ran the Mid America Dragway re-opening weekend this past week. The car was spot-on as far as consistency. It ran a 7.45, two 7.46's and a 7.47 in the 1/8th mile, n/a. I went to the street tire final and red lit! If we can get the driver to get his head right...
The car 60ft.'s a touch slower but seems way more consistent with the Cal-Trac setup. 1.67 seems slow but it did it all day.

Yep. Ran 11.00 @ 123mph that day. Humidity and DA were horrible!

To update a little. Two different Nostalgia events kept getting rained out. One cancelled for this year altogether and the other was rescheduled on a date the second time where I was out of town. Overall I was really happy with the car this season as it had another best low e.t. and mph and was super consistent. Minimal breakage made it better as well. It is really enjoyable just using it as a parts chaser for another project 2-3 times a week here lately. The weather here turned from really humid and 90° to much colder and rainy seemingly overnight so we haven't been able to get anymore good passes. I am pretty sure the car has low 10.50's/high 10.40's in it the way it is with good air and the current tuneup. It is a lofty goal, but next year I would like to see a 9.99 out of it. It should be a plug and jet change away, but we know how that goes...
