I know Lakewood, Quicktime and Keisler all make Bellhousings.

I'm going to be racing the car, so I need a scattershield.

Are there any other options ?

With the SB aluminum housings going for $299, it is really tempting but I really value my feet. I've got to the the Quicktime.

Read LAR414's thread on the quicktime. Doesn't sound any better than the mods I had to do to a Lakewood.

Don't take any chances, I know first hand. Back in 1980 (I was 20 at the time) I went to a cruise night. While walking along the sidewalk 2 cars decided to race, my friends and I stopped to watch. The outside car, closest to the sidewalk, reved up and blew the clutch assembly. I heard the bang and saw a flash, next thing I know I'm lying on the ground. I looked down at my left leg and saw my toes almost touching my knee . I suffered a a compound fracture of my left tib/fib; almost lost my lower leg, a hole was blown through my right heel and had a laceration to my lower left back and left forearm. I spent 19 days in the hospital and took over a year to heal well enough to return to work. I had corrective surgery on my left leg in January 05, now I have a metal plate with 8 screws . I still suffer from the effects today. Needless to say I installed a sfi certified shield from Quick Time Inc even though my Challenger is a street car. So I say to all members, it is a small price to pay in order to protect yourself and those around you.

Wow, That sucks! I am only planning a street car as well, but after hearing of all the horror stories am planning on putting in a CSR shield. I just don't want to hassle with modifying the car and these look like they will slip right in with no interference. It may not happen very often, but if it does happen to you, you will wish you would have bought one and prevented all the pain and suffering in the first place.
