I am looking to put a new fan belt on my 68 road runner, and would like it to look as OE as possible. I'm trying to find the correct part number for the fan belt for a 68 road runner with a 383 and no air conditioning or power steering. The two part numbers I keep coming across are 2806216 and 2843221. I think either would fit, but I would like to get the one that is most correct. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions!!

2532648 is the belt listed in my 1968 parts book. Application is 68 B-body, 383 and 440, w/o A/cond, engine to alt to fan.

It also says that 2843221 is for the HP 383 and 440 w/o A/cond for B & L (Dart and Barracuda), but lists it in the A, B, & C body car columns. A little confusing.

Don't put those repo belts on if you plan on driving it.

My experience with the Quanta Reproductions is similar but different.

Don't put those repro. belts on if you plan on Revving it!!!
They don't like RPM.

I've been told that with every failed item in the past 40 years!

I went to my local tractor supply dealer near me and gave them the dimensions of the belts that I needed. They were able to provide me with belts that had the original appearance at a fraction of the cost. Granted, they don't have the Mopar part number but they look much closer in appearance than the cogged belts sold through the local auto parts stores.
