Anyone have photos of this? Doing this on a 72 A body, with slides on the rear. some rear photos would be helpful too. Thanks, Matt

Here are some of mine. I'm using US Car Tools mounts because they are supposed to bolt in for initial alignment. HOWEVER, the original plates are so far off from the factory that I couldn't bolt them in after all. As you can see in the photos, welding up near the floor pan poses the biggest problem. I still haven't finished those welds.

The first step is getting the chassis level. I used a digital level for this (measures to the 10th of a degree). I used various reference points to measure diagonally to get things square. Its kind of tough to detail everything so think it through and you'll probably do just fine. This isn't a job you want to do without a hoist though !!

I make my own boxes with adjustment for ride height. I like to fudge the housing forward some.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

I also have two bars running down from my main hoop horizontal bar down thru the floor into the top plates of the C channel on mine. Modified the rear seat to go around them also.

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.

I used six jack stands shimmed to level and an even load at front, just in front of hanger, and at the frame near the rear bumper.
