This post proves what I've been saying for decades. Chrysler guys won't spend the money on real race parts. They complain about everything from rockers to headers.
I hate sweeping generalizations. O.K. , you're half right. I still complain. Mostly about prices. And having to pull the master cylinder to set valve lash. LOL

LOL LOL trust me...I [censored] about the cost. But I spend it and get on with it. It's ok to complain about the prices. But it is what it is. If that's what it takes, you do it. I can say I never had to grind on my non MoPar customers to get them to spend on a block, or buy the latest rings, or buy quality shaft rockers. You hear them squeal but they spend the money.

Just watched your video. Sticks are the best. I think you could benefit from taking some clutch out of it. I can hear it pull the engine way down on the hit and it's beating the tire up pretty good.
You can take some of the hit out with chassis and shock adjustment as well, but the clutch hitting the tire like that is usually too aggressive of a clutch tune.
What flywheel are you using and what's the gear ratios? The car is one of the first Finnish purpose built drag cars, and I have restaured it externally and technically it pretty close to what it was in 1980-1981. The drivetrain parts have been collected from here and there, it's got leaf springs with long ladder bars and some Dodge ram van Konis in the rear,Just the way it was built. The flywheel is an aluminum one, and the clutch is called "axle killer", a twin 10" disc mcleod..., no adjustment there either. Maybe in the future I will upgrade it to this century as far as the clutch goes.

If you are going for an era correct car, you nailed it and I wouldn't change a thing in that case. I'd just drive it and have fun.

I have had a pair for over 25 years on several different combos, got them back in the 80s as I bought a complete 340 with them for $2400. Still have them on my 363 with well over 1,000 runs , it has the old ductile iron non roller rockers. never broke one and only replaced an adjuster or two. i bought a pair on here for my present 408 but my engine builder talked me into a complete Indy 360-1 top end so i sold them again on here. Still have the 363 as a backup motor ran great, good oil pressure etc. when i took it out ( it was 11.5 to 1 and I wanted to get away from race gas ) My 408 is pump gas.
