Friend of mine owned a 1969 RT Coronet 440 four speed Dana in this color. I used to have pictures of the car but once he sold it I ended up giving the new owner all my pictures. It was bought new in the USA I think Ohio and brought to Ontario, Canada about 25 years ago and might be still in Canada.

Thanks for the story Mike. Do you know what happened to the Butterscotch A12 Bee with the red stripe that was for sale some years ago? Somehow I really liked that odd combo. Was tan interior 4-speed too, iirc. Its in Alberta now. Dave

Paint code 96 is Butterscotch on a Super Bee. I don't think you will find 96 on other Dodges.
If the Dart pictured is car 3443**, it codes 99 NOT 96. Therefore it may be Butterscotch in color but it does not code 96. It codes for special order paint. If the color was released for Darts, one would expect to fine examples pop up now and then.
So what you are saying is that Plymouth used the 96 code and Dodge would have used the 99 code. Is that correct? Because I encountered a 69 Charger 383 4 speed that was this color back in 1981
