I am starting a restomod on a 79 Ramcharger, and since there are no aftermarket hoods that can bolt on without some serious modifications, I thought that maybe I should add some hood scoops from Mopars of the past.

I found that RPS has repops of the scoops I am interested in, but has at least 4 different part numbers for different applications.

71-72 Demon, 67-76 Dart, 69-70 Superbee, and 69-70 Coronet.

Did these cars all have the same scoops, or where there different lengths for different hoods/cars?

Can anyone provide some measurements from an existing car(s)?

The scoops you show were used only on the 69 and 70 Coronet & SuperBee and the 70 Dart Swinger 340 cars and the 71 Demon's as far as I remember. The only Dart to use them dual scoops was the 70 and the only Demon was the 71. I dont remember them on the 72 Demon as it use the single scoop that was the one that looked like a dual snorkel scoop. Oh and I think the 71 Duster Twister also used them which was only a 318 car. The 340 Duster never used the dual scoops like that. Ron

You're right in that they were used by the factory in those years you quoted, but I took the catalog listing to mean they could be used on any of the years and they would fit fine.
I think a '67 SS RO/WO scoop would look good on those trucks, also, myself.

Many years ago there was a Ramcharger running around here with a set of the twin scoops on it. Looked ok.

Does a 79 still have the birdbath hood? (I just can't remember any more.)
I think those scoops would look pretty goofy on the birdbath hood. Gene

My truck just has the flat hood with the raised center. No bird bath.
