I tried to search for this and I get numbers all over the place. Some say like .521 lift, saw one here that said like .571 and others say around .550 lift. So does anyone know for sure or ever checked one?

MATTW what book did the numbers come from?

I have 2 6.1 cams, one is the billet style, the other isn't... 379ac and the other is 379ad. Not sure if they have the same specs or not.

You know I don't remember where I got this info.
I thought it was from the "New High Performance Hemi builder's Guide 2003 to Present" but after checking i could not find that info.
In that book the 6.1 cam is .571 lift int .551 lift ex 283 int and 286 ex duration.
valve overlap is 50.
Matt

Again in that book the the 6.1 cam 379AC is a 6.1 cam.
no info on the other.
Matt

I'm thinking there must be different cams, hard to believe so many different specs come up on them. I kept finding the specs you just listed and .551 lift.

I have a 6.1 I'm putting together and deciding if I should keep the stock cam or go bigger... also using a 6.1 cam in a 5.7 turbo build. Ultimately, need specs to figure out if the springs are good for an upgrade.
