Need a 70 Challenger patch panel for the fwd lower section of the passenger side rear quarter panel. This is the lower section from the aft end of the passenger door jamb to the contour of the front section of the rear wheel well opening and extends up to the small lower contour body line (Not the main body line). I personally seen a patch panel which was made by Sherman. That panel was awful. The lower contour line and wheel well contour and lines did not match. Panel looked as if the drop hammer press was weak or most likely the stamping mold was not detailed. I have come across a patch panel made by Goodmark on the internet. The picture is hard to tell if it is any better than the Sherman panel. Anyone have any experience with the Goodmark repair panel? Sorry for the lengthy post.

I'd like to know also. Need both ls/rs of these. The AMD partial rear qtr is an option. But that's wasting alot of unused metal. I can't understand why AMD doesn't offer that patch, being they already have the means to.

I agree. It would be so easy to stamp out that section. I guess that would cut into their quarter panel sells.

I just used ab AMD partial panel on a 73, & then section of panel looked nice. Not very 'crisp' lines all around, but presentable. I see that lower section listed as Sherman's; not sure about quality. Guess best to view in person.

I have both Goodmark skins and AMD full quarters loose in my garage right now. The Goodmark stamping isn't as 'crisp' especially on that lower body line you're describing.

That being said, the goodmark panel is still a great budget friendly option, and it wouldn't bug me to use them personally.

The goodmark full quarters are stamped much better than the skins. Just installed a pair, only issue I had with them was the trunk lid gap with was an easy fix... very little work otherwise to get straight.

Anymore I prefer to replace the full panel. If its rusted on the lower area, may not be long before it starts to bubble around the wheel well.

Sherman used to sell low cost panel skins/ patch panels that were basically made with a hammer and dolly. (not literally but you know what I mean) Very poor quality. The higher cost panels from AMD- Goodmark will be leaps and bounds better than what you dealt with.
