I wonder how this will effect the efforts to get Dart to make Chrysler blocks.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

It can't hurt.
Dart is now owned by Race Winning Brands, that owns, JE, Wiseco, and Diamond pistons. Also owns K1 Tech that makes cranks and rods and trend pushrods.

They would sell more Chrysler parts by making more/better blocks available. Money seems to be no object to them, they are buying up everything.

I just found this quote from the new owners "we will be accelerating new product development investments and further our focus on serving racers and engine builders".

Link to announcement.

This purchase has been in the works so long I already thought it was a done deal.

I never thought of the SBM Dart block as a vehicle to sell other speed parts but it does make some sense.
