I have an NOS right hand 69 440 exhaust manifold with a 539 date code...I think...does that mean the 53rd day of 1969? Would that be in the correct range for an A-12 car?

1969 manifolds are month day year - May 3 1969

A12 cars were built from march thru June, so good for some late for others

Some A12 Bees where built in July as well. This manifold would work for the later EAD in June or early July.

As a note, I have not seen any consistent pattern to the manifolds with regards to cast dates. There are general rules of thumb, but just generalizations.
