Does anyone know how many versions of the 1969 Parts Book were released by Chrysler? I know for the 1970 model year, there were several different releases (Dec 69, Jan 70, June 71, etc...)

I'd like to try and find a 1969 Parts Book in decent shape, but wanted to understand the versioning before I stare asking around. (If you have a 69 book for sale...let me know) wink

FYI. Why don't you buy the CD version, it will be much cheaper. If you find a original hard copy they are quite pricey.

My revision is January 1971 but most pages are marked April 1970

Where's your source for the CD version? TIA

I have an extra original 69 parts book. I'd have to check to see if original or revision. Would it matter to you?

I'd rather have it in hard-copy vs. electronic.

I'd like to try to find an early version because I've found there's earlier part numbers that were superseded to later numbers in later editions. Plus, it helps tell the story of when the numbers changed as components are revised, etc. But at this point, I'd take any revision since I don't have one currently.

Tom - I may take that one off your hands if it's in decent shape. smile

I use to see them on E-bay all the time, usually around $99.00 dollars. Sometimes they even cover multiple years, like 1965,66 and 67. Or 1969 and 70. You can get the Service Manual that way too. If I was better with computers I'd post a link. Just do a search on E-bay for whatever year you'll interested in, example: 70 Dodge parts book cd. Cheers. beer

Yeah I have a 1970 only parts book - not the later 70-71 combined parts book.

Most paper parts books in my collection have various dates on the individual pages, in the parts department the original pages would be discarded and revisions inserted as the factory released them.

No need to purchase a CD, you can download the parts manual free at:

Good info John. That makes since. Parts department guys probably would throw away the old pages as new revisions pages came in. And I forgot all about being able to down load stuff from mymopar.com I guess old age is catching up with my memory. lol.

I've never seen an original 1969 book with all 69 dated pages .

I for sure would like to see one though.
I've been told there is an up and an after date part number for 1969 road runner and gtx grilles / head light bezel.

Light versus dark argent colors

Actually, I've seen parts books with pages dated before the model year. I suspect that the basic pages were printed before production began.

Thanks, guys. I'll just have to wait and see what revisions come my way.
