I was think'n for kicks and giggles about putting two TQs on a tunnel ram for one of my RB motors, I think it should work. Just do it for all the TQ haters.

For Stock and Super Stock if the small TQ is required most run the 71 carb it is quicker.

The stockers like the 72 later carbs better. The SS cars seem to like the 71 better. They have a tick more RPM and much bigger plenum and air flow.

From my experience and testing on a former NHRA national record holder 71 carb beats 72 carb. Of course I don't run a slush box which may make a difference.
