Just want to get some ideas on what isn't made currently for A/B/E body that is desperately needed. The hobby has come a long way as regards to parts availability but there are still some big holes out there.

So far none of the items listed will see the day of light, unless an enthusiast/business owner requires that part for his/her own vehicle(s), or an avid enthu$ia$t inve$t$ in it'$ production... as the investment to produce it far outweighs it's return on just the initial investment, never mind any/if at all potential profit

Some of us can be more optimistic & focus on what we would like to see since it was asked. boogie

In other, very optimistic news - TA rocker arm sets may become available again if all keeps going well. up

Hmmm.... Vans auto makes or sells a gas tank sending unit for the lowly 76-77 f body that wasn`t available just a few years ago. He has sold a good amount of them on ebay and elsewhere.

Rubber/Vinyl floor mats. The OG translucent colored ones that you used to find in original cars years ago. Have not seen those in many years.

Pushbutton radio buttons. Chrome is always pitted or flaked.

Brake splash shields.

70-71 Dodge Challenger bumper guards. Someone on here was looking for those and turns out they are hard as hell to locate.

Radiator support to k-member brackets. Often full of gouge marks from hitting concrete curbs or wheel stops.

Brake rotor outer wheel bearing dust caps.

Correct chrome rallye wheel lug nuts.

Rallye wheel trim rings. Don't even think you can find 14" ones anymore, and clean 15x7 ones are worth stupid money now.

OEM style lower control arm sway bar brackets that can be welded to non-sway bar control arms. 67-72 a-body lower control arms with sway bar tabs are not cheap anymore.

Heater box housings would be cool, but doubt that would be cost effective. Many are dried out or cracked so it's getting hard to find nice ones if you building a high end car.

Mod tops and gator tops.

How about 904 and 727 oil pans? Maybe make them out of thicker metal too?

Whatever you decide to make please make it as good as the original. I've been buying reproduction parts for a while now and most of it is garbage. People are spending a lot of money tooling up parts that don't fit. Not sure if the Chinese can't read blueprints or what the problem is but it is really rare to take a repo part out of the box and have it fit and work like an original part.

70 C body sheet metal . . . I know, a small select group of folk would want these . . . but nicer than trying to patch and use the best of the whats left.
