DUSTER_340 OP top fuel Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,648 Armada MICH.	Looking for pictures or confirmation on what base gasket was used with an AVS on a 340 between 1968 and 1970. I have what I am going to call an untouched 68 340 with nothing more than a thin gasket, but I have read others have seen thicker gaskets . TIA

69Cuda340S master Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 3,333 MARYLAND	Edelbrock makes a heat insulation gasket that is thick and works well. I am pretty sure originally the 340 cars had a thick carb to intake gasket.
