So I was given a 65 Fury from a friend of mine. It was a /6 auto car that had blown the engine up and the wiring caught fire. It also came with a 66 Fury 3 4 door 318/auto parts car. I pulled all of the wiring, the steering column, engine/tranny,gauges, etc. and put them in my 65. I managed to get everything to work except the front turn signals and park lamps. The rear turn/tails work, but can't get the front to work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Bad ground on the light housings?

I agree probally bad ground.Only other thing Ive seen is the brass contact dont contact the bulbs sometimes.First make sure it has power to fronts.Rocky

Sounds elementary: Are the bulbs good? Check the connections where the front harness plugs in at the bulkhead connector.

Check right at the headlight socket for power and ground. Are they both there?

Was there a wire coming out of the harness that needs to be screwed to the metal to ground headlights? This won't ground the park lights.

The 65-66 Fury Parking lights are bad for leaking and corroding the bulb socket, I would check its condition.

I've had problems with the bulbs not making a good ground and basic grounding itself. I ended up running a separate ground wire to the buckets and playing with different bulbs. the china bulbs don't seem to fit the sockets as well as the old u.s.a. stuff, but there probably aren't any u.s.a, bulbs anymore.
