Chrysler usually sells most items as complete assemblies and I'm pretty sure that would be the case with the BGE heads. However, I've seen Dave Weber at MMX get stuff from Chrysler that dealers are not even able to get. He seems to have great "connections". You ought to check with him to see if he has them bare.

You could just buy the complete heads and sell the valves, springs, plugs, retainers, keepers and stuff easy enough, I doubt they are going to sell it much cheaper bare than assembled. I know I wouldn't mind finding a good deal on some of that stuff.

Some places are saying it's a regular 6.4 head.

The BGE heads are not just regular, 6.4 / 392 Apache heads. They are a specific casting meant for the 392 truck engine and the Hellcat engine. I would imagine the valves and springs may be different, but I can't speak for that. One difference for sure is how they are drilled for intake manifolds. The truck version has the regular intake bolt pattern like all other G3s, whereas, the Hellcat version is drilled differently for the big IHI supercharger. As far as I'm concerned, the BGE complete truck heads would be a great head for any build where you plan to use a regular supercharger (not IHI). I believe a change to HP springs and retainers is all that would be needed to have a really nice head. With that said, and depending on your build intent, the Apache heads are killer too!

Cast from 356 t6. It's a turbo build, that's why I want them.

Here's a FB video from 2015 with SRT rep reviewing Apache vs Hellcat head. You can notice the darker 356 material as well as the additional cast gussets on the deck surface for reinforcement and extra strength. I believe the BGE heads use the same casting as it would make sense for a commonality/production of heavy duty castings.

I would think there is , but I only ever order this 3 times, the 1st one I received didn't have exhaust bolts holes drilled and both ends of the head were not drilled for oil drain back, the 2nd 2 were drilled for drivers side exhaust and had drivers side drain back drilled in the rear of the head, also one of the pair had the last exhaust bolt hole broken in to the oil drain back. I used that for the passenger side, tapped and plugged the drain back that was now in the front.

I want to share this interview:
http://www.hotrod.com/articles/24-questions-with-chris-cowland/
The segment about heating/cooling torture caught my eye for some reason.
(sorry if it's a rehash)

I am wanting to switch my 99 Dakota to aluminum G3 NA power.

So this head is available.
Who has the part # for the other side.

Here's what arrived today. Bare castings, no machine work, seats or guides. Very disappointed. Hope they take them back! Not even Big Gas castings either.
