Are there trim rings available that fit a 15 X 8 Rallye wheel, or do I have to live with an inch of gap with a 15 X 7 ?

You have to live with the "gap", it's actually not that bad, I've already been thru trying the 15x8 GM trim rings and other aftermarket 15X8 rings they won't even fit

I was just looking through the brushed trim ring options this weekend: Jeg's and Coker both list various trim rings for 7, 8 & 10" sizes, and some say OEM wheels or Aftermarket wheels only.
In my case for Magnum wheels.
Not much to go on; or should I say lots of info but none of it conclusive.

Yeah, looked at Jeg's and Coker as well this morning, really didn't see anything definitive..

A little more drastic work-around...

You could run 5 1/4” backspacing and run a 1” spacer or a 2” overall wider rear end.

Wheel will look like a 15x7 from the side.

Yeah, I've bought 15X8 trim rings from Jegs, Wheel Vintiques, even JC Whitney! and a few other sources that looked promising for a factory looking trim ring, some were real nice, they just didn't fit on the rim....here's the factory 15X7 ring on Wheel Vintiques 15X8

Man, im not a fan of the gap. I always get rid of 14in rallye rims and the 8in wide 15s. Not sure id even like 8s if the trim ring fit. My friends say im a little different, lol.

I'd like to see a photo of that on a 69-up-style 15x8 Magnum wheel; I'm thinking about 15x8s on a '69 B-body. Not sure if they'd hide the outer part of the recessed areas. Many years back, I ran something like the Vette rings on 15x8 Rallyes on a '70 Barracuda, but obviously they're not brushed. Further back than that, I put 14x7 Magnums with Ford 14x7 brushed trim rings on a '69 Road Runner and it fooled pretty much everybody. Those rings were discontinued years ago, and I'm kinda hung up on stock-appearing 15x8s for those cars now. I'd prefer to avoid the '67-'68 full chrome Magnums on '69-up cars, and I didn't have good luck with the trim rings staying on the chrome barrels back in the 14x7 days.
The 15x8 Magnum wheels with painted barrels ('68-up style) are available from Coker, but they're vague on the trim rings.

I use the 15x6.5 trim rings on my front 15x7 wheels and the 15x7 trim rings on my 15x8 rear wheels at least the gap is the same

what is the best bang for the buck on decent rings these days? I just ordered wheels from summit (7s and 8s) but not sure which rings to get, here are some on ebay:

That's what I did. I ordered 15x8 rallyes from Stockton Wheel in CA with 1" more backspacing than a stock 15x7. IIRC it was 5-1/4" like autoxcuda stated. I also moved my springs inboard about 3/4" per side for clearance. This gave the correct fit for the trim ring with no gap and the outside of the tire and wheel are in the stock location with a stock width rear housing.

Keep thinking somebody has to make 3 or 3.5 inch rings. And There has to be a way to attach mopar mounting springs salvaged from ratty old rings.

I used the polished Wheel Vintiques 15x7 trim rings on a set of 8" wheels stretched by Stockton Wheel back in the day. They look identical. You don't get ugly until you go to a 10" stretch. Those look darn ugly.
