How far down in the bore do stock 360 pistons sit? Its in a 1978 d150. Thanks

Welcome here! I'd say at least .100 if not more. My aftermarket ones are .110" & If I can find the CH of the OE ones & compare it to the CH of these/& the brand & part #, I will post it (my poor note taking is biting me in the a$$ again as usual) that might be a rough estimate but for sure thy ain't less than .100

Most stock replacement 360 pistons are 1.576 which means they are 0.111" down in the hole on a 9.600 block.
