I have Isky rockers on my 440 & I stupidly cut out the baffles to clear the rocker arm adjusters. Does anyone know where I can find some inexpensive valve covers (with baffles) to clear these rockers? I'm sucking oil through the PCV now frown THANK YOU!

I have Iskys on mine with stock valve covers with no problems. There is a good chance you have the wrong length adjusting screw. Do you have a picture?

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture. They are on the insured/running/licensed car now & I was "hoping" not to take apart the engine until I had solved the problem and had the parts in-hand to put it back together immediately.

The valve covers are stock 1970 & the adjuster are the ones that came with the Isky rockers arms when I bought them new in about 1985 if that helps.

I have used the Edelbrock steel covers with my Isky's for the same problem you have. They are about $55 from Summit or Mancini and are far superior to the factory ones.

My buddy had a similar problem. We used a push-in breather with a nipple on it and added a short length of rubber hose to the nipple. The PCV valve then plugged into the short hose.

It doesn't look bad, and it worked like a charm.

the summit chrome covers are taller and cheap. I use them without issue.

Hey Lee, do you mean these ones at summit listed as "stock height"?

Lew, do you mean these stamped Summit brand ones also listed as "stock height"? Do they clear Isky's or something similar?

THANKS GUYS!

that's the ones. they are noticeably taller than stock, are baffled, and made of heavier steel than factory. they're about 1/2"+ taller than stock. the only other alternative would be a tall cast alum; more $$$$.
