I made a run stand out of the front frame of an old class C motorhome. Hmm, I wonder if I should sell it.

Have a board that the coil, dual and/or single resister, ecu, switch with relay, installed on, and they are wired all the time. Just run a long wire from coil center to dist. center tower. Have a bypass circuit to bypass the ecu if your dist. is a points dist., or if you plan on using a points dist. someday.
Then all you need is the ground, and fuel line. The starter is wired the same as in car with the battery close by the starter.

there was a thread on his a week or so ago & someone posted a tailor made stand that can be purchased (online iirc) that was cheap that you could add more to it for a transmission in the rear & a radiator in the front. for a new eng breakin you would want to be able to load the eng to seat the rings but for your deal I'd get some angle iron & your chop saw & fab one up & bolt it together then have your welder weld it. A flat panel in the front to mount some gauges/switches etc. the MP basic race car wiring schematic might be in the archives.
