not out yet. unless someone can get a preproduction model. should work just fine like their other throttle bodies. looks to have progressive or maybe one to one linkage on the 2 bbls. biggest limiting factor on the six packs is the manifold design anyway, but coolness factor is way up there.

Thats interesting, fits square bore or spreadbore manifolds. Never seen a "spreadbore" 2300 two bbl. Go figure!

Make sure you understand, besides buying the 6pack intake, you'll need to mount the ECU.
A major selling point of FiTech is the completely integrated system.
I guess they couldn't get the electronics in the smaller 2bbl body.

From website:
FiTech Fuel Injection introduces the Go EFI 3×2 Tri Power 600HP with External ECU in Classic Carburetor Gold.

I run the F&B 6 pac on my 1970 Cuda 440 http://www.fbthrottlebodies.com/
And no I didn't pay that much when I bought mine.

I run it with FAST EFI controller. My system has been running 5 years with no issues.

As others have stated, there is a lot more you need to do than just bolting on the system.

Yeah, I had a talk with them about the description, still haven't fixed it.

If they can't get it right trying to separate you from your cash I hesitate to wonder what they'll get wrong once they already have your cash.

cut and paste the email

You are correct, the website flyer should be up to date and I appreciate you bringing it to our attention that it has incorrect information. We are working to correct it currently.

The flyer I was looking at was the writeup on your website.

I assumed that would be the latest and greatest information at teh time.

Man, if they can't even get the product description anywhere close to being right, it hardly instills any confidence!
That said, if it turns out to be a good product, its price is not too bad, since when Holley started making the carbs again years ago, they went to price gouging. I wonder what the cfm rating is on these? Is that a one piece throttle body or a 3 piece? Looks like one.

The price isn't bad, till you start adding the cost of the rest of it. I toyed with the idea of putting on on the small block I have for my Cuda. Yeah, not going to happen, the prices for everything is too much.

I was reading recently about a shop that removed all the Fitech electronics and injectors and ran them with Fast electronics and someone elses injectors. After that, they said they ran very well.

Not surprising.

I have a neighbor with FiTech stuff on his El Camino build. I should say "had". He took it all off and replaced with a carb after all of his issues.

We've installed a few a couple of years back and had less issues that we did with a Sniper / MSD system. the MSD was integrated with the sniper controller to allow one to electronically control the timing. After many talks with holley's tech's, we went back to a conventional MSD distributor and the issues disappeared whistling
I have heard of others having issues with the FI systems in the last couple of years so shruggy

Another thing to think about is support down the road. had a customer that bought an early TPI $$$$ system from holley many years back. due to some family health issues the project was put on hold. It wound up here as the shop that started is was belly up. When we called holley for support they said everyone involved with that system was no longer with the company and no one technically knew anything about it, However they did offer to sell us their current version down rolleyes flame
If it's not a factory set up i always ask myself is the "potential" gain worth the $$ twocents

I like the system I have on my car. F&B Throttle Bodies. https://www.fbthrottlebodies.com/6-pack/ and a FAST ECU Controller https://www.fuelairspark.com/efi-systems/xfi-fuel-injection-systems.html

I have run this system for over ten year, with no major issues. The only thing I have had to do is, tighten the bolts on the plate to manifold, air leaks, and file the throttle blades a little bit to keep them from sticking, aluminum to brass cool at different rates, so when it cold down the throttle blades stuck a little.

No it was not cheap but it works great!

I Bought the 600hp, 4bbl version of the Fitechefi.com in 2016 used from a chivy guy, ran it for about a year and a half, then saw the 6bbl unit at SEMA in Oct 2017.

For the record, this was installed on my 1971 Plymouth Barracuda, 414ci/727. It was available for order in Feb 2018. I ordered mine and it went back order with Jegs for 7 months! Jegs was awesome as I was very patient. They regularly gave me updates as I requested them along with discounts on the already 1800+ spent. They have gone up in price since. Either was, the unit was finally installed on a Modman intake. I could not find a small block used, new or original intake for the life of me, until I installed the Modman. Imagaine that right.

Either way. There were a few hurdles to get this unit installed to include the obvious, intake, linkage that needed to be purchased separately from Fitech, fuel line/hose and get it running. I'll say, at the end of the day, I am very satisfied with this setup. Fitechefi.com and I have a pretty decent relationship since I've been dealing wit them for quite sometime now.

Remember, we are all old school carb guys and these new EFI systems are like out OBD 1 autos....I still have a 1994 Grand Cherokee that I've owned since 1997, 240k and it runs like a top...just like my Fitechefi.com unit.

#1 tip, make sure your engine is clean n healthy before installing EFI. The EFI will find the issues.
#2 tip, isolate your crank trigger wire
#3 tip, start with new plugs/wires
#4 tip, Get a true 12v source via the battery. Our Mopar engineers really don't allow us to get this via the fuse box etc. Believe me, I've tried.
#5 tip, be patient and believe this will work.

My overall opinion is this a reliable system. I run it on a 414ci stroker small block I built in 2000. This system when 1st installed allow me to take a 9.5hr road trip from OKC to Red River, NM and back. I lost an intake manifold gasket on the way back, but the unit with O2 sensing did it's job and got me all the way home. I think if this was a carb, I would have been on the side of the road.

Either way, a few more items of interest to my Mopar brethren. I run the Fitech inline fuel pump. I don't recommend this and have 100% intent to swap it out for a Holley stock mount with float pump. Just check out Holley's website for this. If you can remove your float switch, you can install this pump. This is a drop in unit that I plan to install on both of my running Barracudas.

Outside of that, give me a shout, 4055966513 or message me with questions.

Depends on the system you choose. My inline pump does require a return line. The stock fuel line is used for this. Other kits..their Command fuel system and the intake pump does not. Visit FITECHEFI.COM for specifics.

Don't be skeered to swap to EFI, I made the jump and it's worth it. Pulling a 6bbl air cleaner on and off to adjust floats and mixture screws is no longer in my list of things to do. Adjust the AFR, pump shot etc on the fly in the car! Giggity!!

In the picture above, I did have to modify my 4bbl throttle bracket to make the Lokar stuff work from my 4bbl unit!

Additionally, if you use a small bock modman intake, you will have to do a little grinding to make the front throttle body clear the intake manifold. I ground the intake and part of the front sensor.....I think it's the Map sensor...it's been a while...

Fitech has the throttle linage, but the bracket I used was my old one as stated above.

might look into it later when time permits. Wonder what a set of 4782-83 series Holleys are worth in pristine condition ? shruggy
