I have a 2006 300c 5.7 awd. Can anyone tell me if the rear outer cv joint can be replaced or does replacement require a complete shaft. Thanks in advance.

Nowadays it is best to replace the complete axle assembly.
Unlike some older cars where the CV joint could be rebuilt,it is not feasible.
I cannot find a listing for the CV joint by itself--just the complete assembly.
Hope this helps.

Thanks 68Charge for the reply, I couldn't find a cv joint just a complete shaft. Too bad the outer cv joint can't be serviced, replaced quite a few on other vehicles when I was turning wrenches for a living. This must be what they call "progress". Thanks again.

LOL . . .yes, progress . . . but then again, you have to admit - a hemi, WITH AWD, especially the 06 setup where you are having the front wheels driven all the time, makes for a great machine in winter AND summer !!!
