I started watching their antics with cars and trucks last week.Great show my girlfriend and I watched a couple nights ago. They raced a high mileage prius against a gremlin they picked up for 700 bucks. They blew the motor in the prius then towed it I think 137 mi,with the gremlin so they could run over the prius with a british tank!that crap was funny!

RK sold out, or got drug along, to Discovery channel

That's why you see that jackhole rawlins assmnokey show on the MT site now.

Going to be interesting what happens from here on out with RK...

Say goodbye to the free content on YouTube.......
Next on the chopping block, I'm told.
As long as the content is still good, I'll keep subscribing and weeding through the ass monkey and American chopper garbage. I'm guessing discovery will find a way to screw up roadkill. eyes

I signed up for motor trend on demand, for 4.99 a month, it's well worth it. I like roadkill garage better than the regular road kill show and you only get it on mtod.

I figured they'd end up on tv eventually. Certainly far more entertaining than the car shows discover has now.

Just watched an episode where they used $1500 worth of leaf blowers as superchargers on a V8 Monza. While I understand it's entertainment, it was actually quite stupid.

Has Roadkill jumped the shark, so to speak? Their magazine flopped, Elena Sherr left. The show is nothing like what it used to be. Once Dodge came on board things changed, some good, some bad. They lost a lot of viewership when they went to a paid channel format with Motortrend on Demand. Time will tell.
Personally I love the show and what they do, or used to anyways.

It's not really roadkills fault. Discovery bought mtod fired a bunch,of people and cut budgets. Then they crammed all their bogus shows on mtod. Subscriptions are now up because people who like ass monkey and that ilk can pay five bucks a month to see all those silly shows without paying for cable.
Pretty smart business move actually. Just sucks for the fans of all the roadkill type shows. They've already dropped house of muscle. We'll see what else they do.
I work in the tv biz. Pretty standard stuff unfortunately.

This. It’s still good, but not as great as it used to be. People on here said going corporate wouldn’t hurt, of course it did. I like the other originals on mtod, but the new crap is the same stupid tv formula. Only one not totally contrived is the chasing classic cars show.

Forever in debt to your priceless advice...

I watch on youtube. Got hooked on entertainment of it. They really don't try to teach you anything and I like that. Reminds me of when I had that mud truck and tried to build it on the cheap. Dump it off the trailer and it would soon break. Frustrating for me, entertainment for everyone else.
