I am looking for a set of mud tires for my 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. I am currently looking at Mickey Thompson Tires' Baja MTZ Radial SLT. Should I go for it?

What will you be doing with them? just want a more aggressive offroad tire?

Some other ones to consider are Nitto Mud grapplers, Interco's Irok or thornbird.

If you are straight up just driving in mud, nothing beats the TSL Bogger, but they are fairly sketchy on the road.

No.

Buy a 4x4 ATV instead if you want to go through mud.

Bajas are cool looking treads but not really a mud tire. None wear well on the street. But if you got the cash, go for it!

I ran MTZs on a jeep. They were just ok, kind of crappy on road. I think Thornbirds are fairly useless.

I was a big fan of Interco Trxus STS for onroad and offroad, did well in most situations. the trxus M/T is also good.

Current offroad jeep has BFG Mud terrain KM2, pretty decent LOUD on street.
