I have a dana 60 car center casting with no tubes. Were there year to year differences in in this piece that would prevent it from being visually correct when re tubed? For example pinion snubber bolt pattern or drain plug area? Thanks Guys!

Drain plug might be about it.

Snubbers were the same patter throughout IIRC.

Only Dana 60 made for Mopar cars had pinion snubbers, all the rest of them didn't shruggy
Dana Corp. made many different Dana 60 housings for cars and pickups shruggy The axle tubes , that I know of, range from 2.5 O.D. to 3.375 O.D shruggy

I have a 1 ton Dodge truck narrowed to fit in my Challenger with no pinion snubber mounting holes & it has the 3-3/8" dia. tubes.

Ok,tonight after work I threw it on the mill and drilled out all the plug welds(12 of em) then pressed out what was left of the tubes. It looks good at this point so tomorrow night I will throw it in the hot tank for a bath. I will probably order steel for the tubes yet this week.

Question...Who's housing ends accept the stock tapered bearing and grease seal?

Or should I look around for some used original ends?

I want to try and button up this housing project in the next week or so.

If your going to abuse that rear end you might want to buy some thick chromemoly tubes for it.
I've used Moser 8 3/4 and Dana 60 passenger car ends on several truck Dana 60 housings for my hot rods with no problems, all of them had 35 spline axle with the green bearings though shruggy I'm almost positive that they will accept the stock wheel bearings also, regardless of the axle size or axle diameter up to 35 spline work Call Moser and ask them up scope
They are a little more costly than some of the other cheaper ends that Summit sells, but they are more than good enough for what I've done thumbs
