The guy with the silver vette said he had a 327...

The 327 didn't surprise me because I still have several Friends with them. Heck one of my Friends has a 1969 Z28 with a 302 and I degreed the cam in for it around 28 years ago. I'm kinda liking the new show. 15 minutes to line up the races then RACE.

FYI it aint even close to a 327 and has alot of help. Not that it comes as any surprise..They did not show much of what happened at all really. But you did see the ONE victory which is actually pretty much the slowest car on the Vegas scene. Power management is what was needed for the new pebble black top road after a few days of rain covered in dirt..

Nothing to tell you saw it. You saw the one race the Vegas guys won. I guess they are showing more on another show? When they get the Cali guys in there you will see another couple wins that's it. Oh and a nice little baseball player type fight. In the week between filming the two shows they did do some racing on a different street, where the Vegas guys usually race and they did not fair quite as well. But in fairness it is a way better road that has plenty of rubber on it. Oh yeah ziptie broke its engine then as well. But found another to plug in while there.

FWIW my son was there with this car. It was brand new that night and was untested. Hell they could not get it up on the chip til 9 oclock that night. Each driver was limited to three people at the sight of filming so they struggled with it. No excuses for sure it was just not really ready to be there. They did manage to kill a rabbit that night and mess the front end up pretty good. It has since done very well on the street and the track clicking off very early..Driver is only licensed to 7.50

Street Outlaws OKC was the worst episode yet. Couldn't wait till the Memphis guys started racing.
I think OKC is running out of material.

JJ could not afford the full race cam after wrecking his cars and buying zip tie. Had to settle for 3/4 race. weld

That was unwatchable garbage. Glad I recorded it and used the fast forward button. Pretty confident that farmtruck and aizn will soon start juggling, magic shows and doing stand up.

I thought JJ was joking when he said he paid $13,000 to buy back ziptie, but when he put all that cash out there I was like WTHeck. Are you for real.

I try not to say anything but it's funny how when you have rented streets everyone is a street racer.

I'd be curious to see how fast some of their daily drivers are. 1000 horsepower Vette seems like it would be a better challenge vs. a brick Jeep. I'm sure the AWD helps, but the 2000 lb penalty doesn't? shruggy

1,000hp, STREET tires, a crappy road, and a car not really set up for the conditions.

I liked the OKC episode, thought it was light hearted and showed those guys will bend any rule put in front of them.
Good to see AZN win something.

I don't know. All JJ 'Da Boss' can talk about is money. I get the impression that to him 'street' racing is nothing more than an income stream. At least the 405 guys seem to be racing because they enjoy it. I still don't know what to think about NOLA.

Can JJ say they are going to beat those high dollar cars they race against with their 15k beaters... only if that zip tie thing has a 2K engine/trans in it. smile
