This wasn't his best pass. But foot braking at 1000rpm I thought it was pretty cool https://youtu.be/RnrheIhx_6k

Ron is/was a member here. he's had some absolutely fabulous cars/builds over the years. When I first met him at a mopar race in Tucson he still had his W5 powered 9sec Demon. Looked and sounded like a 13sec restoration rolling through the pit area that someone threw some slicks on, but oh boy would that car haul the mail.... and like everything I've seen him with, drove it everywhere. Couldn't have said it better Jay.

And his Valiant was the same. His Hellcat ran well and the fact he's been 9.96 with his Demon is not surprise. He will be one of the few guys who actually use the car for what it is intended.

Well from what I hear it indeed did not have the original gas It came from a VP can, MS109 to be exact

I remember hearing of Ron in Victorville, CA when he had his 1969 BB Dart on the street a long time ago He later removed the top to make it go faster. I never saw him race that car on the street or at the tracks as I was running my M.W. Stocker in NHRA stock but I heard it was fast also I was privilege to later meet and get to know him, he is hard working and straight forward guy No games or Baloney Sauce ever
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

That yellowbullet thread is hilarious. Yep, the Mopar guys right now on the Bullet are basically like the annoying shirtless fat guys at the football game with their team name printed across their gut, and their team is winning

SO what you all are saying is those times they posted were on non stock tires with race fuel? If so seems somewhat deceiving, don't get me wrong very impressive for a stock car but I don't recall their claims to be on sticky tires with race fuel..Just sayin bot hatin. I don't blame Ron for using MS109 one bit to protect his investment in the engine/car. But I don't recall that being in the advertising.

Yeah they claimed it takes the Crate ECU and 100 octane fuel to run the number. It has a button on the dash for high octane mode.
I saw a Dyno vid last night of one, the high performance ECU was worth 25HP, pressing the high octane button(with high octane in the tank) added another 50HP. This particular Demon put down 704 off the hauler, 728 with the crate ECU, and 776 on the high octane button. So stock? That is up for debate, these are all parts that came with the car so its a grey area in that aspect I guess?
