Need the experts on numbers. I have a 727 b trans, build date is Oct 68. After looking in my 69 service manual the vin is weird, the reason for this post. Vin- WH23F9A20095 book said 69 only did the whole vin on case. Coronet 440 high end two door hardtop, the F is what gets me, SM says F is a 318 but trans is for a big block (I know the difference). Is this a common mistake or am I reading it wrong? Case serial # PK2892091L 2633 is it missing a digit of the sequence number? I've seen other "typos" - one 727 was "XS29F9xxxxxxx" - I'll have to see if I can find it - must've been stamped on Friday

just a simpler "typo" hopefully it is the only digit wrong (F VS. H) the part number is probably correct, wrong part number stampings would've caused chaos 1969 non-HP 383 4bbl B/C-bodies & 383/440 A-bodies
