Well, I will be redoing the grille on my 69’ 340 4 speed swinger, as it does not meet my standards. I have seen two different ways for how the black on the grille is painted and am curious on what I’d the correct one for my car? I’ve seen a lot of car with the mesh part completely blacked out, and what I’ve done and what I’ve seen on cars too is I painted all the horizontal pieces and left the vertical pieces polished. Any tips or recommendations for polishing/making the metal look fresh? Mine isn’t isn’t terrible shape but in some areas it’s a little weather or very slight pitting and what would be the correct paint to use on the silver? And where can I buy it? I live in Canada so if there is anywhere I can buy it locally that would be great, thanks in advance for the help👍

Here is a correct 69 Dart Swinger grille and headlight bezels. The drivers side bezel has been stripped of paint, but the passenger side is correct. The only black paint on the grille is in between the vertical bars and the lower horizontal bar above the tray, and the extreme right and left top of the grille to match the headlight bezels, abn then argent in the center and lower tray.
