Can someone measure the distance of the intake manifold bolt hole center line: from the block side of the head up to the bolt hole center line and then the distance from the valve cover side of the head down to the bolt hole center line, and let me know what they get, I may have a pair of bad heads. Jesus I hope not.

Thanx: JoWeTu_6

I hope it's just a set of bad gaskets though

Hears a new pic it shows what I need to know, I
would realy apreciate any help on this

What do you think is wrong with them, does your manifold not fit properly? or do you think they're excesively milled?

Well when I line up the ports with the gaskets the bolt hole centers are 3/16 off, lining the bolt holes causes me to have to add gasket material to the top and do some grinding on the bottom. Not good either way, gaskets may be off I hope.

I thought so to, so imagen my suprise when I bolted my T-Ram to one of the heads off the motor and saw the runners where missalined by the same 3/16. I've got an idea what's wrong but I need the spec's to confirm it.

The gasket for the 572-13 and 600-13 heads are different than 440-1 heads. Also now when you buy an intake for 572 and 600 heads the bolt holes are elongated slightly.

That true im sure but 3/16 off that seems
to be a bit much, or is that the norm with
Indy products?

I can pull the intake off at the weekend and check then, if you can wait that long. Motor has to come apart for freshening / upgrades anyway.

I have a new set in the shop for a customer as well, and also all the different Indy gaskets, so I'll take a look later and hopefully report back if still needed.

well looks like I've got the right gaasket if my gasket bolt holes are ok, so much for that therey, now I'm thinking my the holes in my heads are off or I wont be having holes in my intake I'll have slots, but that will only fix one side.
May be my $$$$.$$ custom intake is off(NAAA)couldnt be.
Either way trobbles abrewinnnn.
Need spec's to know for sure.

Do the holes in intake line up with holes in head? , i got a set of intake gaskets that i had to open up on the bolt holes , seems i was sent the wrong gaskets , have now got the correct one's from Indy , they line up perfectly.

If the gaskets are cut @ a 45* angle on the ends then they are correct , if they are cut square then they are for a different application.
