They arrived today, thanks Ray!

I had heard about the one that sold in 2015, but the current owner is not a registry member, so I'll use everything you sent in as a future 'Item of the month' feature on the site.

The broadcast sheet for the other car is a new number to me.

I am working on an update to the 'found' section with more items as time allows today & tomorrow, so the records you sent & more should be listed soon. beer

Sounds good Barry!
Thanks for all you do and Have a safe and Happy New Year!

Thanks Ray!
Same to you. I hope 2108 treats us all very well.

You also asked about your former T/A in the letter, it has not surfaced on my radar yet. If & when it does, I do know how to find you. ;-)

If everyone that currently owns one would register, it would make getting paperwork & other items so much easier to reunite them back with their cars.

Another update.

The broadcast sheet the AAR owner found for a 1970 440-6 Cuda is now featured as our first 'item of the month' for 2018 & there is also a photo of Paul who let me know he had the block with Earl, the owner of the car with the AAR engine in the back of the owners Rampage. It can be seen at http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/

Thanks again for the assistance!

Our first item for 2018 was also just claimed, so we are off to a great start to the new year. beer

Nick at pantherpink.com is the one that spotted the car at the show & let me know about it.

The guy with the block (Paul) mentioned it in a letter to me about his 1970 Duster 340.

Morty426 knew Earl, the AAR owner & set it up so I could get a hold of him.

Situations like this & many others in the past are a team effort.

If / when something shows up for a specific car & it is known to exist, it this a little easier.

I was NOT expecting someone would know that car within minutes of the initial post here, but I also knew we had a lot of CA members.

It was worth a shot & it all worked out.

Thanks for the help guys, Earl appreciates it! beer

this is a small world, I responded to a cl ad in Cottonwood AZ for mopar parts, and after loading up, the seller was telling me this story about reuniting a AAR engine with the owner of the car. I was like I know that story lol very small world we all live in!!
