I recently picked up a 67 GTX that has manual steering and I would like to convert it to power steering. I know that other years of pumps will work but I would like to know what the correct style pump was that was used on this car. Also, is there a specific part number steering box that would be correct for this car? Do both the pumps and boxes have date codes stamped on them? I would really like to use only 67 parts for the conversion if I can help it. I already picked up a 67 power steering column. Thanks.

It should be the larger ( there is a smaller one) TRW pump with the return line sticking up.. You measure from the pump body to the pulley if I remember correctly..

Some website ( I think its the people in Medford, OR Hoffmans?) has some great pics and measurements.. They also have the brackets...
